22 Ways To Show Your Pride (And Give Back To The LGBTQ Community)

Pride is looking a little different this year – with protests taking the place of parades, and celebrations going totally digital. But even with an altered calendar, you can still physically show your pride – and support for LGBTQ organizations.

We’re sharing 22 ways to show your true colors – with shoppable clothing, accessories, home decor, and art that celebrates Pride. In addition to brightening up your wardrobe or home, proceeds from many of these items are being donated to organizations supporting LGBTQ rights, including the Trevor Project, GLSEN and the It Get’s Better Project. So not only will you make a colorful statement, but you’ll also be giving back. And that’s something to be proud of.

Keep scrolling to see all the shoppable pieces and show your pride.

CLOTHING & Accessories

Whether it’s a rainbow print or a bright t-shirt, your clothing can say a lot about where you stand – and spread love and acceptance wherever you go. To make a statement, outfit yourself in the “Use Your Voice!” tee (which benefits OutRight Action International), or the “We Are Together” tee (with $10 from every sale going to GLSEN – The Gay & Lesbian School Education Network). A bright button-up shirt or a rainbow bandana are both colorful choices (and will support Target’s $100,00 donation to GLESN). Go with a bucket hat, side stripe shorts, or a printed sweater for style with substance. For a cute summer sandal, try a rainbow strap from Teva, who has contributed $20,000 to the It Gets Better Project. A patterned tote is a great summer staple (and 10% of sales will benefit the Ali Forney Center). You can get sporty in a pair of tights -which help support LGBT Sports Safe. And for the finishing touches to your outfit, go with high top sneakers, leopard spot socks, or a delicate rainbow bracelet

HOME DECOR & Art

You can also show your pride at home with some subtle (or super bright) accents! A set of pride votive candles will fill your space with soothing scents, a heart mug will remind you that love is love every morning, and a set of bud vases can create a colorful display – with all purchases benefiting the Trevor Project. A rainbow pillow or graphic piece of art are fun ways to enliven a kid’s room, and a groovy ceramic canister is great for treats. For a more subtle look in your space, try this zig-zag rug that will bring in just a dash of color. And to let everyone know your home is an open and accepting space, place a pride doormat at your entrance.
