2020 is here (how are the resolutions?! did you add any to your list from our home resolutions?), and we’re back with more memorable spaces, places, and products for the new year. So before you jump into your weekend, take a moment to sit back and get inspired!

This week we’ve got a whole new collection of covetable homes, design and accessories, from a restored stone farmhouse in the Canadian countryside, a new modern oasis in Los Angeles, a very cool burger joint, and lots of products to get you off to a clean start in the new year.

Canadian Countryside

For a mix of modern, rustic and lots of countryside charm, look no further than this stone farmhouse. Built in the mid 1800s near Lake Ontario, it’s been totally restored and features interiors that deftly combine Scandinavian antiques, farmhouse furnishings and a seriously stunning marble tub. It’s such a stunner it makes us almost want to spend the winter up north…almost.

A Sweet Swirl

Looking for a way to liven up for dining table? Try these swirl candleholders designed by Chen & Kai Williams. They’re a fun pop of graphic shapes and colors, and you can make them pop even more with the addition of bright colored candlesticks.

Let’s Dish

Doing the dishes isn’t exactly a fun task, but at least you can dry them in style with this handsome wood handled dish rack. It comes in three neutral tones, and will be an attractive addition to your counter even when not in use.

A Whole New Edition

Renowned interior designer John Pawson is responsible for the the newest Edition Hotel, located in West Hollywood. From the sculptural lobby and reception desk, to the sleek bar and restaurant and the bright and minimal guest rooms, every inch of this property is a real stunner (according to our Creative Director, Brady who has already enjoyed rooftop cocktails with two thumbs up). It also takes full advantage of it’s suny Southern California location with an abundance of outdoor green space.

Delightfully Diffused

As we mentioned in our post New Year’s Resolutions: 5 Easy Ways To Improve Every Room In Your Home, aromatherapy is a great way to create a healthier home. For an easy way to get the benefits of essential oils, try this simple and chic diffuser. It has multiple settings for varying levels of mist, and also works as a humidifier. And the best part? It’s under $30.

A Store That Shines

Gold isn’t the only thing that glitters in this organic modern jewelry store. Designed by Studio Shamshiri, the space if full of enviable details, from the pink plaster walls, built in niche shelving, to the custom sconces. It’s a totally unique space that’s perfect for shopping, but also makes you feel right at home.

Updated Upstate

We’re ready to cozy up in this remodeled Upstate New York home. Keeping most of the original details in tact (the staircase, beams and wood burning stove), the owners brought in a mix of vintage and modern furnishings to give the home a total refresh. The result is a space that maintains its historical feel, while feeling perfectly at home in the 21st Century.

Naturally Clean

Update your cleaning routine in 2020 with this set of eco friendly bamboo brushes. They’ll last you for years and look great in your kitchen. Not to mention bamboo is sustainable, so you can know you’ve helped the earth with each new scrub.

Burgers Gone Bold

When we think of modern design, burgers aren’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind. But this burger restaurant in Iceland definitely changed that. It brings together Japanese and Scandinavian influences to create a thoroughly modern and elevated space, with concrete, wood, metal and accents of bright blue and yellow. A burger and fries never looked so good.

Material Mix

It’s all about the textures and materials in this modern Melbourne abode. Designed by Workroom, the imposing concrete facade gives way to open rooms mixing raw steel, dark paneled walls, bronze and stone (including a seriously stunning kitchen).

A Better Brush Holder

Add some sculptural shape to your bathroom with this U shaped toothbrush holder. Its neutral tones will work with most colors, and it’s a total steal at just $18. Plus it/s versatile enough to use as a pen holder, bud vase or decorative storage container just about anywhere.

Don’t Sweat It

We love a comfortable pant that also happens to look good. These sweatpants are just that- with a quick drying, stretch material they’re great for a physical activity, but have a tailored fit and 4 colors that will look great outside the gym too.
