Leanne Ford At Home

When it comes to combining cozy, rustic and modern, no one does it quite like designer Leanne Ford. She recently shared her renovated Los Angeles home, and as you can imagine, it’s a perfect mix of old-school charm and organic details. Built in the 1910s, the cottage style home has a river rock fireplace, whitewashed beams and a mix of textures- all in a simple, neutral pallette that makes it feel ever so comfy.

Enlivening Your Outdoors

We may be stuck inside, but that doesn’t mean you can’t create a cozy spot in your outdoor space (even if it’s just balcony, porch or first escape!) Try adding a grouping of potted plants to liven things up. We’re loving this textured terra cotta planter which has rustic and modern vibe. Or if you’ve got a little bit more space, get this minimal and chic bistro set, which is perfect for a cozy al fresco breakfast for two.

A Simple And Sculptural New Furniture Line

Designer Josh Greene just launched his first furniture line  with Dowel – and we’re loving the simple forms and sculptural shapes. Inspired by iconic designers of the 20th Century (like Charlotte Perriand) the line features tables, seating, pedestals and more, available in 6 timeless oak finishes. They’re the perfect pieces to bring a modern, and striking statement to your space.

Bring Batik To Bed

To brighten up your bedding for Spring (and bring in some pattern) try this batik print duvet set. It comes in both beige and a brighter indigo blue, and will add a little extra something to a bedroom, whether your style is minimal, boho, Scandinavian or eclectic. Pair the cover with white sheets and a neutral, textured lumbar pillow for a fully finished look.

White & Bright On The Coast

With its clean, inviting spaces and minimal design, we would be happy to shelter in place at this California home. Designed by Brandon Architects and Blackband Design, the white, farmhouse style facade gives the home a traditional feel from the outside. But upon entering, a mix of classic coastal style, modern and textural pieces team up for a space that’s anything but your typical beachside bungalow.

Creating A Whole New Floor

Stuck with flooring that is, ahem, less than desirable, and can’t afford to make a major change? Have we got a solution for you. This ingenious adhesive floor tile gives you the look of tile, without the price tag. You simply lay the tiles down, stick them to your existing floor, and voila! You have a whole new look. Plus, they’re water-resistant and cleanable, making them great for bathrooms and kitchens.
