Right after you’ve hopped out of bed (and even before you have your morning coffee) take a few seconds to think about what you’re grateful for in that moment. Even if it’s the most simple of statements, this will set a positive tone for the entire day, and keep things in perspective. You can also keep a daily gratitude journal that includes guided prompts, which will also allow you to reflect on an entire year of meaningful moments.
We’ve said it once and we’ll (continue) to say it again. Organization is a key component of a happier, healthier home. And there’s no time like a new year to start implementing easy ideas to clear away clutter. Consider starting in one room (a closet is always a good place) and working your way through your home at your own pace. Donate or discard things you no longer use and find a spot for everything else. Trust us, you and your home will reap the benefits.

Get In Touch With Nature
Nature has a powerful way of elevating our mood, lifting our spirits, and calming our minds. Wherever you live, take time to get in touch with the outdoors. That could mean a walk in a park, taking a weekend hike, or even just a few moments each morning in your backyard (or looking out a window if it’s chilly). Especially in times of stress, seeking out nature can provide you with a serious moment of zen in a world that can feel overwhelming.

Invest In Good Rest
A night of sound sleep can mean better days – and a better you. So make this year the one that you get the best rest possible.
