Bobby Berk Design team is looking to hire a motivated, self starter positive full-time Junior Stylist and Editor. This person will be the right hand person to the Creative Director of the company! They are key to the smooth operation of a rapidly growing creative business. They must adapt to change easily, have a keen eye for detail and design, be organized and have a passion for the interior and creative space. They will be required to think outside the box, multitask, push creative boundaries and assist in the creation of editorial and creative content. This individual will be working side-by-side daily with the creative director to create content (both online for bobbyberk.com and for photoshoots, editorial campaigns and clients). You should be proficient in online research, have a knowledge of the interior design market, and a go getter attitude. There is opportunity for growth within the organization should the individual want to focus on visual and creative development.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the creative director to research, write and develop website and social campaigns
  • Work with the creative director to shop, prop style and setup for photoshoots (both with and without Bobby)
  • Research the market and create website roundups and posts
  • Shop for props/furniture/accessories under the direction of the Creative Director
  • Manage budgets, logistics and data entry for photoshoots
  • Travel occasionally with Creative Director and Bobby Berk to setup photoshoots, showrooms, and projects
  • Collate and procure products for shoots, online roundups and other editorial outlets
  • Data entry and proofreading on website
  • Provide administrative support to Creative Director
  • Willingness to work outside area of responsibility and take on multiple tasks as is required in an early stage company
  • Perform daily clerical tasks such as: copying, filing, basic data entry, online research
  • Able to use a multi-line phone system, copy machine, scanner and other similar office equipment
  • Ability to manage calendars and online documents
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as assigned

 

Who you are:

  • Creative, Energetic, friendly, enthusiastic and independently driven
  • Well versed in the interior design market (knowledge of online sites, trends, pinterest)
  • Previous Photoshoot/Styling experience is a must
  • Adobe Suite (photoshop, in design, illustrator) is a must
  • Google Suite (gmail, google sheets, google slides) is a must
  • Proficiency in wordpress is a plus
  • Proficiency in RewardStyle and Affiliate based linking is a plus
  • Must demonstrate professional phone/email etiquette
  • Strong communication and excellent organizational skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be computer savvy and able to learn high level programs quickly
  • Project a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to lift, carry and move large boxes/items/furniture
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Desire to learn and grow inside the interior design industry
  • Be an ambassador for the brand
  • Must be fluent in English both verbal and writing
