Home Tour // Cozy Eclectic Seattle Home

In the Pacific Northwest, where coffee is strong and rain plentiful, a home can be a real refuge from the storm (pun intended). Nowhere is that more true than in the cozy and eclectic rooms of this Mid-Century home.

Situated in the Olympic Manor neighborhood, this home is a wide ranging mix of textures and patterns, all grounded within a muted color palette reflecting nature: earthy neutrals, rich blues, greens and lavender. Mid-Century touches, like the original stone fireplace, cane dining chairs and ceramic pendant lights, play off of natural woven textures, warm wood tones and modern art.

It all comes together to create an inviting and cozy home that’s both traditional and modern, and a welcoming spot on a rainy afternoon.

  1. Do you know the paint color on the kitchen cabinets?

    1. I love this project, and the kitchen especially is so beautiful! I didn’t design this home, but you can find more info on the designer, Heidi Caillier, here.
