The Soho neighborhood of New York City is known for its industrial lofts-not for warm, inviting spaces. But we found a space that manages to retain the neighborhood’s gritty feel and be totally cozy.
Designed by Tina Rich, this loft home is mix of textural brick walls, marble, crisp black accents and lot of warm colors and textures. Light colored wood floors keep the space bright, while furnishings, art and accessories bring in an organic and modern feel. Glass walls also help keep the space feeling open, and maintain the open floor plan lofts are known for.
It’s a home that plays homage to the neighborhood’s past, while thoroughly feeling contemporary. And it finds just the right balance of hard angles and rough materials while being super soft and cozy.

I love those doors to the bedroom! Any tips on where/how to get them?
I do too. Those doors are most likely a custom design, but here is a similar version.
