Queer Eye Season 5: Noah – The Makeover And Reveal
Ready for another makeover (and inspiring story) from Queer Eye Season 5? This week, I’m sharing a hero with a higher calling – and a non-traditional makeover of a historic church.

We meet Noah Hepler in Episode 1, ‘Preaching Out Loud’. (Spoilers ahead, per usual.) Noah is a gay pastor at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Atonement. Nominated by members of the church council, Noah is passionate about his faith and his congregation but wasn’t giving nearly the same attention to himself. (He was also living in a parish house next to the church that has seen better days).
So on the eve of the 125th anniversary of the church, we stepped in to give it a modern and colorful update that reflected the open and progressive community – and provide Noah with a new look and lots of self-love.
To help get the church ready for the big celebration, we created a makeover worthy of praise and re-did the sanctuary and community room, as well as transforming a storage loft into a whole new living space for Noah.

I neeeeeed to know about the paint on the floor in the bedroom! I just bought an old house with painted plank floors. I painted 2 rooms but the paint is flaking. Idk how to do the rest properly. Help!!

I gotta say: I want that bedroom!!! Altho, unless the pastor rises at dawn, the idea of all that light shining through the stained-glass window is gonna get old fast… I didn’t notice a shade or drapes.
