Bobby Berk Monthly Recap: September 2025
This September was all about the television industry – and celebrating. First, I wrapped filming on my show, Junk or Jackpot? earlier in the month (and I can’t wait for you to see it!) Then, I had a chance to attend a couple of events honoring the Emmy Awards, from a golden celebration, to a tea party, to a night before bash. To top it all off, I also got to celebrate another new show, Wayward (which premiered on Netflix Sept 25th). So let me show – and tell you – a bit more about my celebratory September.

SEPT 10TH – A GOLDEN CELEBRATION
My friend at Goldhouse, an organization uplifting and promoting the AAPI community, threw a toast to the Emmys. I got a chance to party with my pals, 4-time Emmy nominee Bowen Yang and Atsuko Okatsuko, as well as meet so many amazing AAPI actors, directors, and producers. And of course, I had to pose for some photos in the Lounge Booth!

SEPT 13TH – THE EVENING BEFORE THE EMMYS
The celebration continued at two events held on the Saturday before the Emmys. First, I stopped by the BAFTA TV Tea Party in the afternoon. I hung out with my pal Emily Hampshire and got to chat it up with SO MANY TV stars. What a thrill.
Later in the evening, I then went to an evening before party with Atsuko, her hubby Ryan, and two of my closest girlfriends. We had too much fun, and by the end of the night I was all partied out.

SEPT 20TH – WELCOMING ‘WAYWARD’
To wrap up the month, I got to chat and pose with star Mae Martin at a screening of their new show Wayward. After watching the first two episodes, I can definitely tell you that this thriller has lots of twists and turns and is totally binge-worthy. I can’t wait to see the rest of the episodes!
