Have you heard the news? Bobby has a new personal design project, and it’s a major renovation! Casa Mallorca is a unique vacation home, and when completed, will be a property unlike anything Bobby has ever designed.
While we first shared the news about Casa Mallorca (it’s pronounced may · or · kuh) back in November 2023, construction on the property is now (finally) in full swing. So it’s time to give you all a detailed look at the home, the grounds, and Bobby’s big renovation plans!

WHY BOBBY BOUGHT
Casa Mallorca
Yes, Bobby already has one vacation property, Casa Tierra, and after completing that project, he truly fell in love with the landscape and serenity of the desert. Bobby also had a vision to create a true “wellness retreat” and escape, and when this unique home became available, well, he knew it was the perfect place to do just that.
Located just a few minutes away from Casa Tierra, this property had a lot of great (and enticing) features as well: lush landscaping, a modern-meets-rustic exterior, and most importantly, room to expand. As for the name Casa Mallorca, it refers to the Spanish island in the Mediterranean, known for beach resorts and limestone mountains. The design of the home, including the stone exterior, wood beams, and clean white interiors, reminded Bobby of this vacation destination; thus, he christened it Casa Mallorca.

When Bobby purchased the property, the 1-acre consisted of a main house (built in 1981 and updated in the 2000s), with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and a guest house with an additional 1 bedroom and bath. The home has a distinct design that mixes organic, rustic, and Mediterranean styles, and while there are some elements that Bobby plans to keep (like the gorgeous ceiling beams), he plans to largely overhaul the slightly dated interiors and grounds, elevating the experience and amenities, yet retaining the design integrity and Mallorcan influences.
THE RENOVATION PLANS FOR
Casa Mallorca
The renovation plans for Casa Mallorca are mainly focused on elevating and expanding the home, and the addition of experiential and wellness components. The 1-acre property will be transformed with renovations to the existing main house, shed, and guesthouse – updating them with new accommodations and a gym. Bobby will also be introducing wellness amenities to include a new pool, hot tub, sauna, massage room, and pickleball court.
There will also be a new, 4-bedroom, 4-bath addition to the main house, and a brand new guesthouse with a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 full baths – enough to accommodate over 20 guests, while creating a premier luxury rental experience in the desert.
Stay tuned as we bring you even more updates on Casa Mallorca in the coming weeks! And if you aren’t familiar with Casa Tierra, you can learn all about that project – and book your stay- here.
