Creating A Very Special Holiday For My Friend’s Place
Sure, the holiday season can often feel hectic, hurried, and overwhelming. But as we dash from shopping to parties, it’s important to remember the real spirit of the season is about giving. Which is why Bobby was so excited to be able to give back this year – and partner with Minted to create a very special holiday event for My Friend’s Place.
My Friend’s Place is a non-profit that offers comprehensive services to youth experiencing homelessness in the Los Angeles area. Operating for 35 years, they provide a safe place for young adults aged 12 -15 to move toward wellness, stability, and self-sufficiency, and Bobby has been honored to support their mission. This holiday season, he had a chance to further show his support, and partner with our friends at Minted to make an even bigger impact. Bringing in decor, art, and accessories from Minted, Bobby and our team transformed My Friend’s Place into a holiday wonderland – and brought a whole lot of Christmas cheer to some deserving young people. So let’s take a look at how it all came together!

My Friend’s Place Holiday
Armed with lots of Christmas decor, Minted products (and Holiday spirit), the Bobby Berk team arrived at My Friend’s Place with a mission to transform their space. To make the holiday magic, we covered tables in printed tablecloths, pine garland, and a bevy of flameless candles. Stockings and garland graced the reception desk – and a whole lot of garland circled the room. But the centerpiece of it all had to be the Christmas tree (complete with Minted wrapped gifts underneath). We also gave the main space a brand new gallery wall – featuring colorful and fun framed artwork from Minted.
And this wasn’t about just creating a festive holiday space. We also served up some festive holiday food and handed out some goodies. Bobby helped serve a delicious meal (catered by B Sweet) and gave some Minted dopp kits filled with toiletries to the youth. Overall, it was an amazing day giving back – and embracing the real meaning of the holidays.
