By now you know all about my furniture line with A.R.T. Furniture, but today we’ve got an extra special treat. We’re giving you an inside look at last week’s launch party that was full of friends, fun, and of course, lots of furniture.
First and foremost, I’d like to thank A.R.T. Furniture for working with me this last year to pull together a furniture collection that I am so proud of. It’s been over a year in the making and I could not have done it without them. If you are new to A.R.T. Furniture, then let me give you a very quick little intro on the brand before we dive into the party and how the evening came together.
A.R.T. Furniture is a Markor company that designs and manufactures whole-home collections in case goods, upholstery and outdoor. In addition to its wholesale market selling to U.S. and international retailers, A.R.T. Furniture has over 120 branded retail locations in major cities throughout China (where you can also purchase the pieces in my collection!). Beyond their amazing history and presence both in the USA and in China, the partnership was important to me as they are known for quality construction and their ability to craft artisan finishes- meaning that we could really create something special together. And that is exactly what we did – which all came together in a very special evening to celebrate the launch. Now let the party begin!
The event took place last week at Light Lab in Los Angeles, which provided an intimate and character-filled backdrop for the party. In the space we created a number of room vignettes to showcase pieces from the line, including a living room, dining room and bedroom which allowed everyone to interact with the furniture first hand (while enjoying some delicious bites and cocktails). Ogling at furniture, sipping on delicious cocktails and snacking on tasty treats is my kind of night. Pom Pom at Home provided the most beautiful and cozy linen throws and bed linens to compliment the furniture, with original artwork from my line with Leftbank Art adorning the walls and completing the setup. It all came together with much help from the events team, Brand Like That, and my team who worked tirelessly to bring together our vision for an unforgettable evening.

You might recognize the bar (or the storage areas behind it) as we used a few of my favorite pieces from the collection to create a custom bar area where guests could order delicious Ketel One cocktails, like the Watermelon Splash and Kettle Soda. I can definitely cheers to that.
And to pair with the cocktails and drinks, a selection of tasty appetizers, like short rib empanadas, mac and cheese croquettes and Mediterranean shrimp (just to name a few) were served by Bite Catering.
In the dining room vignette, where you’ll see my Bauer cabinet above, 10 West Leather provided custom metallic foil embossing to all of the guests, because who doesn’t love a monogrammed moment? Guests could choose from a leather card case or keychain to be personally monogrammed to truly welcome them home, while they partied the night away.
And while guests mingled and checked out the pieces, Magician Adam Wylie performed slight of hand card tricks, adding to the festive vibe of the evening. You can tell by the look on Betty Who’s face that she was quite impressed with his skills – as was I. That man knows his way around a deck of cards.

But the fun didn’t stop there. We also worked with OM Digital to create a custom cinematic video portrait (AKA video booth) for guests to be able to get playful with each other and the furniture. And of course, I got in on some of the fun with Randall Park and his wife, Jae W. Suh. Just push play above! It was quite a night and I can’t begin to thank all of those that came out to support the line and for all the love that it has received already. Although the below pictures only represent a handful of the people that attended the event, I truly am so grateful for everyone that came and all of you out there that have already purchased pieces from the line and shared in the love.
A special thanks also goes to Brand Like That for brining this event to life! They listened to our brand goals, the overall vibe we were trying to achieve, and most importantly threw quite the party (that was a full house and no one wanted to leave!)
AND last but not least, to my team who worked tirelessly to make this event come to fruition. I know that there were many after-hours, lots of meetings, and so much work that went into every single detail that made this event what it was. You made sure that the Bobby Berk for A.R.T. Furniture launch was a night to remember.
Congrats Bobby! Looks like it was a great party
It definitely was. Thanks so much!
