Bobby Berk: A Recap Of The Month Of January
Can you believe we are already one month into 2024? January has already come and gone, and Bobby has had a busy schedule since we kicked off the new year. Between design projects, The Emmys, and a new season of Queer Eye, we’ve been keeping track of all his moves, – and it’s time to share a recap of the month of January.
JANUARY 1st – Bobby rang in the New Year with his husband Dewey in Portugal! It was a perfect place to enjoy beautiful sights, spend some time at the beach (which Bimini loved), and recharge for 2024.
JANUARY 7th- After 5 nominations, Bobby took home his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program! It was a special (and very emotional) night for Bobby and the Fab Five. Check out all the details HERE.
JANUARY 14th- Bobby went to see his good friend Atsuko Okatsuka perform at her “Full Grown” tour in Los Angeles (and he got a big hug from here after the show!)
JANUARY 15th- Fresh off his win at the Creative Arts Emmys, Bobby attended the Primetime Emmy awards, and walked the rep carpet in a super stylish look from Peter Do.
JANUARY 24th – Queer Eye Season 8 premieres! It’s a bittersweet moment, as it’s Bobby’s last season on the show. Make sure to tune in for all the unforgettable makeovers and heroes!
JANUARY 30th – Bobby headed off to NYC to join the rest of the Fab Five and promote the new season of Queer Eye, including an appearance on the Today Show.

I am actually excited that you are leaving Queer Eye—because you can continue to GROW and LIVE and THRIVE! When they call people “influencers” I often disagree that “influencers” should be rolods, but with you, I think of you as a positive influence in my life. I have learned so much from listening to your story in various broadcasts, following you on IG, T and Pinterest, and am always astounded how you carry yourself. You have an amazingly upbeat and cheerful disposition, great love for your husband, have forgiven people who hurt you, and always handled world situations with empathy and care. You are preaching the “Gospel of Bobby” in your way—and on your terms. And that is a wonderful lesson for us all.
