There are a lot of things to love about Casa Tierra. Besides the obvious pristine pool and soothing bedrooms, some of the design features are so amazing, that we can’t truly stop thinking about them. So we’re walking you through 5 of our absolute favorite things from this project (that we wish we had in our own homes!)

Since Casa Tierra was designed as the ultimate vacation rental, we added lots of unique touches to make every stay extra special. And we’re highlighting 5 of the most enviable design elements – that might just inspire your future home renovation.

A Dreamy Double Shower

Nothing says pure indulgence (and dare we say romance) like a double shower. We outfitted the primary bathroom with a pair of sumptuous Raincan Shower Heads and Single Function Hand Showers from Brizo to take this space to an opulent new level. And if that wasn’t enough, the graphic combination of carbon black zellige tile and unglazed natural zellige tile from Zia Tile makes this shower truly unforgettable.

An Outdoor Bar Made For Entertaining

Who wouldn’t love an outdoor bar worthy of a stylish resort – right in your own backyard? We pulled out the stops when it came to the Casita Agua bar, outfitting this space with ample counter space (courtesy of  Lapitec® Sintered Stone in a satin finish from Willis), a prep sink, and a JennAir Bottom Mount Refrigerator for chilling a bottle of rosé. And that playful neon sign and fun rope swing seats add even more enviable vacation vibes.

A Well Equipped Media Room

Keeping entertained is easy – when you have an entire room dedicated to it! The media room is definitely a space that gives you lots of stylish options we would love to take part in, from the ultimate movie night to an afternoon of games, and even a cocktail at the bar. And with every surface in a dark tone (we painted the walls and ceiling in Dunn Edwards Black and added a plush black carpet) it’s also ideal for a nap on that plush charcoal sectional.

An Outdoor Kitchen Suited For Summer

This outdoor kitchen definitely has us ready to fire up the grill and get cooking! The Edgestar Built-In Propane Grill is perfect for afternoon bar-b-ques, while the durable Lapitec® Sintered Stone countertop from Willis provides plenty of counter space for prep.  And thanks to the covered roof and string lights, you’re even shaded from the scorching sun or properly lit for any late-night cooking.

Easily Accessible Light Switches

No detail was too small to be thoughtfully considered on this project – even the light switches! To make things even easier for guests, we added light switches right next to every bed, so you can switch off the bedside sconces right before you nod off.

A Chic Custom Closet

No primary suite is truly complete without a closet to match. And this one was custom designed with California Closets to create a space that catered to the needs (and vacation wardrobes) of guests. With lots of flexible hanging and drawer options, this closet is the perfect place to unpack. And to add another stylish touch, we brought in Cosmic Desert wallpaper in shades of white and gold from Jungalow.
