When Bobby announcedCasa Mallorca, many of you were probably wondering, “Another boutique resort?” It’s an understandable response, given that Bobby had completed the major remodel of Casa Tierra just a year before. So what inspired him to take on another big design project in the desert? We’re about to tell all.
Well, it’s pretty simple, actually. Bobby fell in love with the desert. Designing Casa Tierra in 2022 exposed Bobby to the wide-open spaces, the sunshine, and the light, colors, and textures of the desert. He felt an immediate connection to the landscape and loves spending time there, away from his fast-paced life in Los Angeles.
While Casa Tierra was designed as the ultimate getaway, with features for all ages and interests, Bobby also had a dream to create something else: the ultimate wellness retreat in the desert. Bringing together his passions for design and mental health, Casa Mallorca will be a place where every corner is crafted to recharge your mind, body, and soul. This property is about more than a getaway — it will also be about a deeper connection to the landscape and to self-care and restoration. Bobby can’t wait to share it with guests – and all of you – soon.
