It’s time to dive into Queer Eye Season 8 – and all the amazing episodes and heroes! Bobby and the Fab Five are back in New Orleans for another season of life-changing makeovers, and we’re bringing you an in-depth look at each and every one. Today we’re starting at the beginning, with the rocker chic makeover and reveal for a diehard Kiss fan. Get ready to meet the first hero from Queer Eye Season 8: Tim!
We meet Tim Keel in Episode 2 – “Kiss The Sky” Tim is a self-described Kiss (an iconic rock band) superfan and the owner of a menagerie of fish and reptiles. But he’s more than just a rocker – he’s also the sole caretaker for his brother Doody, who was paralyzed in a car accident. After 23 years of marriage, Tim got divorced, lost his self-confidence, and fell into a depression. But through it all, his selfless spirit (and love of rock n’ roll) always shines through.
The Fab Five meet Tim, try on some of his Kiss attire, and then help him begin his transformation. Tan tosses the rocker tees, Antoni teaches him to make chicken noodle soup, Karamo takes him on a swamp tour and Bobby combines his passions for Kiss and reptiles to create a one-of-a-kind terrarium!
As for this design makeover, Bobby carefully curates all the Kiss memorabilia, creating a rocker-chic abode – and a well-equipped room for Doody (and all the reptiles!)

Such a beautiful episode!! Bobby, you did an amazing job! 2 questions: where did the reptiles go? Where was the rest of his KISS collection? haha 🙂
Not to worry – We kept his reptiles, they were just consolidated to one room in the house rather then being everywhere 🙂 An art collection company helped organize and store some of his KISS collection, some went on display in his home and some went to a temporary exhibit that was setup for him.
