You can always count on Queer Eye to engage, entertain, and elevate the lives (and interiors) of some worthy heroes. And while the Fab Five work their magic, we also tend to learn a few things along the way. From personal growth to letting go of the past, there are a lot of positive experiences to apply to our own lives. And these are 5 of the biggest life lessons we’ve learned from the past 6 seasons of Queer Eye.
Queer Eye isn’t just about improving lives. It’s also a chance to be inspired by these incredible stories – and apply them to your own life! There’s so much to be learned from these amazing heroes! That’s why we’re sharing the most impactful life lessons from the past 6 seasons of Queer Eye!

Rob Elrod | Perseverance
Six months after giving birth to their son, Rob’s wife passed away, leaving him to raise two young boys. And despite his grief, Rob offered a powerful lesson in dealing with tragedy, showing strength, and being there for those who need you most. He rose to the occasion, teaching us about perseverance and honoring the past while moving into the future.

Deanna Munoz | Authenticity
Deanna from Season 4 suffered from a common cause for concern: feeling like she didn’t “fit in”. She felt she wasn’t Mexican enough to fit into the Latino community or professional enough for the business community. But with a little help, she learned you don’t have to be anyone but the best version of YOU – and being authentic to who you are is always the best fit.

Chris Baker | Selflessness
We learned a whole lot about selflessness from Chris in Season 6. As the Executive Director of the non-profit The Other Ones Foundation, he worked tirelessly to provide food, shelter, and work opportunities to those experiencing homelessness. And he demonstrated the immense impact one person – and one single action – can have toward making the world a better place.

Angel Flores | Strength
As a powerlifter, there’s no question that Angel is physically strong. But it’s her emotional strength that really shone through in this episode. Having recently come out as transgender, she faced the challenge of finding her true self and reconnecting with her father, while also teaching us real strength means being vulnerable and true to your self.
