January is the ideal time to get your home organized and your collections uncluttered. And on ‘Junk or Jackpot?”, I’m helping some collectors do just that! With a lil’ time, effort, and TV magic, I’m making new spaces for the new year. So let’s see how I helped this week’s collector pare down their collection and curated new spaces in their home.
In episode 4, ” Wonder Wowed”, I’m helping Vivian, a physical therapist with a wonderfully huge collection of Wonder Woman memorabilia. While Vivian helps her clients regain mobility and heal their bodies, I was there to help her regain space in her home and start living like a real-life Wonder Woman. Let’s see how it all came together.
Pssss. Don’t miss my full recaps of Episode 1 with Patrick, Episode 2 with Johnny & Carlie, and Episode 3 with Tonya!
‘JUNK OR JACKPOT?’: VIVIAN
BEFORE
Vivian’s bedroom was colorful and cluttered. And for someone who was ready to open up her home to a significant other, this was not the most inviting and appealing space.
The collection room was completely stuffed from floor to ceiling with Vivian’s memorabilia, action figures, and so much more.
‘JUNK OR JACKPOT?’: VIVIAN
AFTER
The bedroom and closet (which was formerly the collection room) received a fresh new look, featuring clean and simple furnishings and ample new storage. The red walls had to go, in favor of clean white and accents of gold. I curated Vivian’s collection and displayed it in both a practical and pleasing way. Did you also notice the stars on the ceiling of the bedroom as a nod to Wonder Woman’s costume?
1. Arched Glass-Door Storage Cabinet | 2. Upon A Star Peel and Stick Wallpaper | 3. Blue Dyed Throw Pillow | 4. Ceramic Accent Lamp | 5. Wonder Woman Lasso Pose Wall Art | 6. Cotton Velvet Throw Pillow
What used to be a guest bedroom is now a proper living room, and I adhered to a Wonder Woman-inspired color palette of red and blue, while also incorporating a display cabinet to showcase some of Vivian’s most prized WW memorabilia.
Stay tuned next week for episode 5 of ‘Junk or Jackpot?’
