It’s the final day of our Modern Glam project reveal with Pardee Homes. We’ve already shared the Entry, Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room, as well as the Primary Bedroom and Guest Bedrooms. So for today, we’re taking you outside to the Patios, as well as the Powder Room, Game Room, and Workout Room.

Whether it’s lounging outside with a cold beverage, getting in a workout, or just spending time together in the game room, these spaces were designed to function – and look good while doing it. We continued using shades of pink, black accents, and modern touches to tie these rooms into the rest of the home while giving them each their own visual identity.

POWDER ROOM

This powder room was all about pattern – and making a statement with a graphic wallpaper. We kept the rest of the room simple, bringing in modern touches though a pair of pendants and a ribbed white planter. A black frame mirror connects to the black countertop, and brass hardware adds that important glam touch.

WORKOUT ROOM

The workout room is perfect for breaking a sweat in style. Besides running the wood flooring up one wall to create a focal point, we went for the unexpected by placing a graphic wallpaper on the ceiling (you know, so you can have something pretty to look at while doing sit-ups). We even incorporated stylish workout equipment, from a sculptural weight set to a faux leather swiss ball to the very cool mirror workout system. Some clever black hooks help corral other equipment and a coiled basket offers easy storage.

Game Room 

The design for the game room centered on being comfortable and colorful. A berry-colored rug injects the space with plenty of color – and a super plush feel underfoot. A modular, low sofa, along with some velvet pillows and a throw, is the ideal spot to curl up. The Black Mast Floor Lamp by Article provides extra light, and a sculptural side table is a modular solution for placing a drink. While an eclectic grouping of art adds pattern and playfulness and brings in darker shades to balance the bright tones.

Upstairs PATIO

Directly off the game room, this covered patio is a sweet spot to watch a sunset or sip a cocktail. A pair of glossy white side tables bring in function and a sleek texture that contrasts with all the soft elements. Downstairs PATIO

Open to the entry through a sliding glass wall, the downstairs patio is an opportune spot to entertain, or simply unwind. A modern grey sofa and pair of chairs from Article are polished and plush, while a duo of marble coffee tables adds a smooth texture and plenty of surface area for drinks or an impromptu meal. The Samson Rug by Annie Selke showcases a subtle stripe pattern, and a black sculptural side table/stool breaks up all the strong linear furnishings.
