Hopefully, Queer Eye Season 6 has made you laugh, cry, and get inspired by some incredible heroes – and makeovers. But even if you’ve binged all the episodes, we’ve still got even more insider design details to share. And this week, we’re bringing you a makeover that helped one humanitarian continue to make the world a better place.
We meet Chris in Episode 8 – “Gimme Shelter”.
As Executive Director of the non-profit The Other Ones Foundation, Chris works to provide food, shelter, and work opportunities to those experiencing homelessness. The organization has set a goal of raising $6 million dollars for a housing initiative, and Chris feels pressured to deliver. But he worries that his lack of self-esteem and grungy appearance could be holding him back from attracting donors to the cause.
The Fab Five arrived to offer Chris a whole lot of compassion, teach him to take time for himself, and discover the self-confidence he needs to be an even more effective community leader.
For this design makeover, Bobby gave The Other Ones Foundation offices an inviting and functional new feel, while also giving Chris’ kitchen and dining area a total upgrade.
