Happy Valentine’s Day! For this day that’s all about the special someone, we’re bringing our last QE makeover from season 8 – and a hero you are sure to love! This hardworking Chef is honoring her heritage and following her passion. Get ready to meet the next hero from Queer Eye Season 8: Anh!
We Meet Anh Luu in Episode 6 – “ When I Say Sexy, You Say”. Anh is a talented chef looking to her Vietnamese heritage to create delicious dishes. But after losing her mother a few years ago, she has continued to struggle with grief. She has also had a contentious relationship with her father, feeling disconnected and hurt. But with the support of her partner, she wants to move forward, honor her mother with a special dinner that showcases her Vietnamese cuisine, and continue to advance her career and make the food that she truly loves.
The Fab Five meet Anh – where else – in the kitchen! After sampling her cuisine, they get to work healing her relationship with her father, helping her re-discover her self-confidence, and even helping her prepare her special dinner.
For this design makeover, Bobby gave Anh’s home a big upgrade, making her kitchen more functional, adding a real dining room and giving her a beautiful new bedroom.
