Over the past few weeks, we’ve brought you the details behind eight incredible makeovers from Queer Eye Season 6. But don’t worry, we’re not done yet! There’s another hero to highlight – and this week it’s a multi-talented producer and rapper who got his flow back – and a stylish new space to make beautiful music.
We meet Reggie in Episode 10 – “The Mis-inspiration of Reggie Devore”.
Before the pandemic hit, Reggie (a.ka. Blacklight) was hitting new heights as a rapper and producer. But as gigs got canceled and the live music industry shut down, he started to lose his passion for making music, instead, focusing on supporting his family (including a newborn son). Reggie now faces the decision of whether to step away from the stage for good, or follow his wife’s advice and reignite that creative spark.
The Fab Five arrived on the scene to get Reggie ready for his first gig in over a year – with a new look, a new attitude, and a renewed passion to perform.
And for this design makeover, Bobby gave Reggie’s living room and kitchen an updated look, while also transforming his music studio into a super stylish spot to record – and relax.

Did you use any sort of acoustic panel behind the curtains in the music studio?
Yes. Reggie already had some acoustic paneling installed, so we added the drapes over that. xx -B
What kind of rail did you use for the curtains? I’m soundproofing my home studio and love the look and function of heavy velvet curtains!
