Queer Eye Season 7 has certainly had its share of memorable makeovers and incredible heroes. And after sharing 6 special stories and spaces, we have just one more hero to highlight before we wrap up another amazing season. It’s time to meet a nonprofit leader who’s invested in farming – and feeding his community.
We meet Michael in Episode 7 – “Sowing The Seeds”. Michael Richard is the Farms Director of Recirculating Farms, an urban farm and food equality nonprofit that provides fresh vegetables, education programs, and activities for the New Orleans community. Michael is passionate about his work and farming and is an integral part of the team. But he’s struggling with feelings of insecurity and a fear of failure, which is also preventing him from applying to an environmental law program.
The Fab Five arrive at Recirculating Farms on a very hot summer day and quickly learn all about Michael’s passion for plants and the people of New Orleans. And with a little Queer Eye magic, they give him a stylish new look and outlook – and the confidence to host the annual fundraiser.
